Quality, Halal and Food Safety Policy

As Gelner Gıda A.Ş., our priority in the edible bovine gelatin and collagen products we produce and throughout our entire supply chain is the satisfaction of our customers/consumers along with food safety. In all our activities, it is our foremost responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees and business partners working with us in our field of activity. Our basic rules in this context;

  • In accordance with the purpose and context of our organisation; we set food safety targets that enable continuity to produce new edible products using the latest technology by making use of the constantly developing technology of the products produced under quality, halal, food safety, environment, occupational health and safety conditions, and we constantly review and renew these targets.
  • To continuously improve the operational prerequisite conditions in food production within the framework of quality, halal, food safety, environment, occupational health and safety, to ensure continuity in the controls of critical points in food, by regularly reviewing the objectives and methods appropriate to these objectives.
  • In particular, to follow and fulfil the legal obligations valid all over the world and in our country, to comply with food safety and halal legislation, to adopt customer requirements and to carry out all studies to meet food safety requirements and to be constantly reviewed and renewed.
  • In order to ensure that the products produced in our organisation are delivered to the consumers in a healthy and safe manner, the necessary conditions are defined and implemented, and compliance with the conditions is regularly and continuously controlled.
  • To ensure the spread of Quality and Food Safety Culture by instilling product quality and safety awareness in all our employees, to make it a way of life, to ensure the continuity of our product and process quality by making our employees feel themselves as a part of GELNER GIDA A.Ş.
  • In order to produce our products in accordance with food safety, quality and halal management system standards; To be reliable, reliable, meeting consumer needs and expectations based on physical, chemical, microbiological, allergen, radiological, sabotage risk assessments by producing in environments in accordance with hygiene and sanitation rules in the processes from raw material procurement, production, packaging and shipment.
  • To carry out the necessary controls and monitoring in order not to victimize the consumer by food froud and adulterated raw materials and auxiliary materials.
  • INTERNAL and EXTERNAL communication methods have been determined and implemented in order to eliminate all risks and keep the control network wide and fast. Ways and methods have been determined for the continuous development and improvement of our quality, halal, food safety, environment, occupational health and safety management system, which is constantly reviewed. It is updated and continuously improved by intervening immediately when necessary.
  • To fully meet customer satisfaction and expectations, to always be the first preferred brand, to produce quality, healthy and hygienic products from safe raw materials.
  • To minimize all our input, energy, water and carbon footprint, to make investment decisions that are environmentally friendly, to choose equipment that is suitable for occupational health and safety, and to establish ergonomic and healthy work environments that will eliminate the risk of work accidents.
  • To prevent waste with a zero waste approach, to use resources efficiently, to reduce the amount of spending and to recycle the resulting waste.
